The BeneVision N1 is an ultra-light transport patient monitor weighing just 950 g, with a 5.5-inch HD touchscreen (1280x720) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and up to 8 hours of continuous battery runtime. It meets the pre-hospital transport standards EN1789, EN13718-1, IEC 60601-1-12 and US military standards, offers IP44 dust/water protection and withstands a 1.2 m drop on all six faces. The N1 works in four modes — transport monitor, plug-in module for N Series monitors, standalone bedside monitor with a 19-inch display, and companion mode — keeping patient data continuous across the entire care pathway.

Mindray BeneVision N1 Transport Monitor Overview
The BeneVision N1 is a patient transport monitoring solution designed for both intra-hospital and inter-hospital movement. Measuring only 150 x 103 x 81 mm and weighing 0.95 kg (standard configuration with battery), the N1 fits in the palm of your hand yet delivers the full multi-parameter monitoring capability of a bedside monitor.
The N1's greatest strength is its versatility: one device serving multiple roles across the hospital, helping optimise capital investment while maintaining continuity of patient data throughout the care process.

Four Flexible Operating Modes
• Transport mode: a standalone handheld monitor with 8-hour battery life, used when moving patients between departments or between hospitals.
• MPM module mode: plugs directly into the module slot of BeneVision N-Series monitors to act as the basic parameter measurement unit.
• Standalone mode: connects via a standard video cable to expand onto a 19–21.5 inch touchscreen (1920x1080, up to 8 waveforms), becoming a fully featured bedside monitor.
• Mirror (companion) mode: connects to an N-Series monitor through the N1 dock, enabling dual monitoring and bi-directional control between the two displays.

Durability and Transport Standards
The N1 has passed rigorous environmental, safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing: it complies with EN1789 (road ambulances), EN13718-1 (air transport), IEC 60601-1-12 (emergency medical service environment) and US military standards. The unit carries IP44 dust and water ingress protection and withstands a 1.2 m drop test on all six faces. The Transport Docking Station includes an embedded AC power adapter that provides a dual power source throughout both ground and air transport.

Connectivity and Data Management
A dual-band Wi-Fi module transmits real-time data to the central station, supporting multicast and cross-IP networks with automatic roaming when entering coverage. Where no network is available, the N1 stores data locally and uploads it automatically, synchronising with the central monitor once the connection is restored. The device retains full trends, events, full disclosure and 12-lead ECG analysis results. The N1 is compatible with the BeneView T series monitors and all BeneView T1 accessories, helping hospitals leverage existing equipment.
